Guest guest
Dear Allan, Cheeses, yogurt, tuna, salmon, sardines (skinless and boneless), thinly sliced deli meats, pintos and cheese from Taco Bell or chili from 's (if you're out and want something quick). Have you considered protein shakes yet? I highly recommend the Champion Pure Whey Stack (chocolate is my favorite, though all their flavors are good). It is almost a physical impossibility to get in your required protein amount at this stage without the assistance of shakes. If you'd like to sample a few different varieties, visit Vitalady.com or wlssuccess.com and view the samples they sell. They are usually a range of $1 to $2 each, plus shipping, but it's a lot better than buying a big jug of something and getting stuck with something you don't like. Also, if you're on the " lazier " side (as I am), you can buy the Atkins shakes in a can (20 grams of protein) at Wal-mart or your local supermarket for about $6 for 4 cans, or you can get an excellent one called RTD Extreme Smoothie. It's sold at the Vitamin Shoppe and has a whopping 35 grams of protein in one 11 oz. can. Comes in vanilla, chocolate and strawberry and tastes great. Also, if you don't like the shake consistency, but prefer something closer to crystal lite, try the Isopure zero carb, zero sugar drinks. They are 20 oz. bottles and have between 40 and 50 grams of protein per bottle, so if you take one and split it into two drinks, rather than drink it all at once, you've gotten in most of your minimal protein amount for the day. Add that to any food you're eating, and your protein intake will be perfect. live each day like it's your last... love like you've never been hurt... Guest guest
Pintos and cheese, is from taco bell, you just need to tell them not to put onions or hot sauce in it at this point. Generally in the second phase you would just eat the filling out of the burrito and not the tortilla. With regard to cooking frozen fish, I have the Foreman grill which does the trick or typically I would just bake it in the oven. But you could probably cook it on the stove top with I Can't Believe It's Not Butter spray and lemon juice for moisture so it won't burn or dry out. My preference on fish is pretty basic catfish, redfish and the occasional mahi mahi. Hope that helps!
