Guest guest
i think the citrimin has issues. you would have to give amounts and brands for comment on the others. overdoing c is a very common problem. between the molybbdenum in the citrimin and the zinc you are likely depleted copper and copper is essential for bone formation. scd may mean that the supplements are being better absorbed or that there is some combination of better absorbtion and some nutritional insufficency in the diet and imbalance in the supplements. are you incluidng any dairy? a hair test would be more than helpful, would highlight the issue i think. i have written up on copper and zinc in the index of http://tinyurl.com/2csa3 brushing erodes tooth enamel, you need very soft brushes, several different types and the new ones with some rubber bristles in like the colgate massager are good. i would brush only once a day and not overdo it, removal of enamel is an issue especially along the gum line, in fact thats the most common form of tooth damage in adults. iits not clear what you mean by plaque? calculus or tartar or soft filmy build up? Guest guest
My who has been on the diet since last fall also has developed discolored teetht that seem to be plaque magnets too. I thought it was her GERD, then I thought it might be the green tea extract doing the staining, but not sure at all. The dentist has no clue! It does come off with a dental cleaning though and will last a few months, then we are right back with it again. Her teeth were very white before the diet too. Go figure?? Guest guest
You know I have no clue why this would happen, but I've heard those ionizing tooth brushes help keep the teeth positively charged so the plaque doesn't stick... I wonder if this would help? We're too new to the diet to have experienced this but I'm horribly curious as to why it happens. Does it have something to do with acid/alkaline balances? So strange.
