Guest guest
I had to take 500mg Niacin and drink coffee to induce a flush. This made my skin very hot and sensitive. There was no anesthesia at all, and I forgot to ask for the exact joules used, but because it was so painful I know he backed off a little and used less intensity. I was really nervous when it was going on. He did the whole face. I remember about fifteen zaps. It doesn't feel like a rubber band. It feels like someone is burning you with a match fifteen times. Sorry if I'm not supposed to say that, but that's what it felt like. They gave me some ice and gauze so I could cool my face somewhat before I left. My face was beet red, but uniformly red (not blotchy) when I left. I used ice packs to try to combat the swelling but even so I am really swollen today and sunburned-looking. I look like a boxer who lost a fight and then fell asleep in tanning booth. Luckily I do not have to see anyone today except my family. I can't believe I have to do this three or four more times. Someone please tell me this gets easier.
