You might still be a good ways away from Ovulation. The OPK only detects the

LH surge 24-36 hours from the actual ovulation. Your cm might also change to

eggwhite consistency also. Making you closer to ovulation. Make sense???

janice.i still have symptons of getting ready to ovulation now i have the

creamy white cm.but i tested with one of those opt last nite and it was neg,

and todayi took another one and it was also neg.but the cm is getting worse

and my cervix is very high and real soft.can u tell me why the test wont show

nothing.i see a faint pink line in the result but i know it has to darker

than the test window,but it isnt the test one is real dark.

I think that you are supposed to test everyday within a certain time frame.

There should have been a chart in your testing package telling you what day to

start testing on. I was not supposed to start testing mine until cd13 but

because I was having signs of ovulation sooner I started testing yesterday.

If you are talking what to take to a TR take straws (its easier then sitting

up every time you want a sip) Stool softners take my word for it (Pain meds

constipate you) Pads to put between your insision and undies I still have

one there... Pillow for on the way home between belly and seat belt and

saran wrap and tape to cover insision and shower

If your cycles are regular you should come up with a positive over the next few

days.

well according to the chart with my opk i should have started

today.(testing)but when i tested today still said neg.will it show that then

maybe tomorrow or so i will get a positive result?

my cycle should start the same as my TR..i've been looking at them at the

store..so i should take it with me right ..brecause thsat will the beginning

of my cycle..i'm still not sure how they work..

They are for when you ovulate which is somewhere in the middle of the cycle.

You should not need to take that. I can't imagine being able to bd that soon

anyway! LOL Every one has different times when they ovulate. As you get

closer to ovulation that is when you need to test with the OPK. sends

out all kinds of wonderful information weekly and I think there is information

in there on OPK's that might be helpful to you!

I forgot it in the back of the van so I used my Bunny from Tonya Should have

seen truckers looking at me Because I was seat belted with a stuffed bunny

first stop I got my pillow and it helped alot

Hello ,

I had a tubal ligation in 1990 and we had our reversal Feb. 27, 03. Found out

at the time that the dr. who did the ligation destroyed my left side. Not

enough to repair. The left tube was repairable and is 4.5 c.m. Rather short

really. But one tube can very well be good for conception. Ovualation in

random and so you really don't know when the good side is releasing an egg so

that is a factor but it is also possible for one fimbria (end of the tube) to

pick up an egg from the opposite ovary.

Hi, this is Rhonda Ivey..Laurie and I had our TR Thursday and all I can say is

WOW !!! came home yesterday...moving very slow..my tubes are R-5 x3 L 5x0.5.

Dr. Levin doesn't for see any problems..he said that I more than enough to do

the job...but have to wait three weeks ..bummer..but honestly I don't think at

this point I could try anyway...I have to applaud the couple that conceive while

still at the hospital..what a lady!!!!

Dear Sacha , a .B and . Oh yes and to all fellow lupies out thereI knew my former post may spark a bit of debate. I have no problem with whatever or whoever they believe in, God, Buddha, yourself, to me its all immaterial.We have to get through this disease with the most positive outlook so that we can enjoy and revel in successes.However one does this is up to there own.Being a physician I rationally ruled out that this could be an hallucination. The hallucinatory process is a very complex one and since I wasnt on drugs that potentiate hallucinations at the time, to me this question is a moot point. I have shared this story with various church members who have reported the same kinds of experiences and I doubt we were all hallucinating. The question as to adream is easily answered, i have written proof from that night that this incident occured. Not only was I totally relaxed after my incident, but I went straight to sleep afterwords, knowing that there is someone looking after us, that faith in Gods word doesnt mean youll find the answer in a day or 2, it may take years, but I believe there is an answer. About 2 years ago my grandmother died and i got a call freom my mother in South Africa. My GM was a spritely old soul, hardly any medical problems so i had no thoughts in my mind that I would not see her next time I visisted home. back to the phone call. My wife at that time and I were sitting in the living room watching TV, your normal wednesday night, when all of a sudden i had this profound sense of sadness that came over me. At that very instant I new my GM had died. The phone rang about 2-3 minutes later and my mother told me the bad news. For those out there who question a higher power my personal experiences do not doubt it anymore. Combined with my job, where I see or hear the death of a person who was a patient there is something eerie that goes on. many times i have looked into the eyes of my patients and know death is coming. Nothing need be said between us but the communication has been real, and I guarantee you it has never been wrong. Looking into that persons eyes is like a window to the soul, so much is said between us, so much is understood and that one fleeting moment.It is true, death has a look all of its own.I would say that out of the patients I have treated, in the hundreds, 98% are religious in some form or other. Some might say that this a last ditch effort to make peace with God just in case, cancer patients to my experience do not do this.There are many many cases that we cure and out of those I'd give you the same 98% of believers.I am ascientist and to this the big bang and evolution should be foremost in my mind. God and the BB and evolution fit perfectly into religion.For example we hopefully evolve our minds every day, and the BB is just a metaphor for millions of years of evolution. Who knows God may wanted to have man evolve from an Hydrogen atom to eventually lead to Adam and Eve(figuratively)Well thankyou to those who shared having the same experience, I hope it was as real and life changing as mine, I think it is truly a blessing to essentially be rebornAlso thanks for your comments BJust as an aside, 2 weeks ago we hired a new chief tech. One day sitting eating lunch he noticed my medic alert bracelet for coumadin. He asked me what it was for and I told him I had Portal vein Thrombosis. He flicked up his jacket and said i have one of those too, he had gotten a blood clot in his thigh, with the diagnosis of Lupus. Well I just about fell out of my chair, people who want answers as to whether God is watching over us should consider this. What are the odds. So i told him I have Lupus too, and he invited me into his home straight away if I ever needed anything. The other night when I was really feeling sickly he offered to come round with some food. I did not have too ask him for thisI feel God put this person here for a reason, for me to learn from, to me to lean on when i needed someone. There is no other explanation for me. God can truly do wonderful things when you least expect it. For all of you who are still waiting to see a sign from God be patient I believe it will happen, maybe it already has in some small way, I hear that there are a lot of married couples out there where one person has LUpus and they stay with you despite everything, this in itself is a miracle. Not too many people are stong enough to do that. Yes there is badness all around us, random killings, deaths, I have seen my fair share of babies with cancer that die in 6 months, who can make sense of this. I dont think it is for us to ask.I live my life day to day, who knows I could win the lottery tomorrow or be run over by aCoors light semi. The point is we just dont know.Even now when I am in pain I try to concentrate on the good stuff and yes I do dream of the future with a wife and kids, with all that important little stuff.I dream of getting back on the tennis court, my rheumy and i have made adeal. He said it should take a year probably 2 to where i am going to be back to at least 90% of who I was.But then you know sometimes the bad thoughts come over when you are in pain and you moan like I did yesterday, BUT I do do a lot more positive dreaming than moaning. Without this and without God why live, these pains are aweful, just put me to sleep. That is a decision I made when my fiance and I parted, I was not going to give in to this dasterdly disease, but become a more healthy , caring, loving, empathetic human being. I can feel myself changing and i think this is also through the work of God.I believe in myself , I believe in God, and I believe in fairness in this world, without it I would be a shell, ready to be crushedJust remeber for every bad thing the the Tv or newspaper told us, there are far more positive things in this world. Why not write a newspaper or have TV programs where this is emphasized, the media can make us automatons, but then again thats what they want us to be to keep buying and watchingI can go on andon but I think I will stop here, I may have ruffled some feathers along the way, but it is in no way malicious or meant to be harmful. Traveling down the Trans Canada Highway and needing to "go", I stop at a rest area and headed to the restroom.

I was barely sitting down when I heard a voice from the other stall saying: "Hi, how are you?"I'm not the type to start a conversation in the restroom and I don't know what got into me, but I answered, somewhat embarrassed, "Doin' just fine!"And the other person says:"So what are you up to?"What kind of question is that, I thought to myself? At that point, I'm thinking this is way too bizarre so I say: "Uhhh, I'm like you, just traveling!" By then, I am just trying to get out as fast as I can when I hear another question,"Can I come over?" Okay, this question is just too weird for me, but I figured I could just be polite and end the conversation. I tell them "No..I'm a little busy right now!!!" Then I hear the person say nervously...

"Listen, I'll have to call you back. There's an idiot in the other stall who keeps answering all my questions ! CELL PHONES - DON'T YOU JUST LOVE THEM?!!
