a comical view on the update on my daughters trip to the ER,

well, thankfully, after 5 hours in the ER, now I know you all are

smiling, cause you all have done that extended ER time, right??

(a horrible note-- or funny-- my mom, who also has ACM swears by

this statement-- you want to avoid the LONG wait time in the ER,

claim chest pains, they always get you right back with chest pains.

now, dont kill the messenger, it is my moms trick, not mine. but I

wonder if she has a good trick in ending the long wait time.......

)

well, by the time we got back in the exam room, well, Britt was way

tired and zonked out on the exam table, and an hour and a half later

when the doc finally got in there, she was so sleepy, she claimed

everything was fine, and then when the doc did his little neuro exam,

she aced it.

made me feel really stupid, but the doc had a good bedside manner,

so I didnt feel so bad, at least it started the paper trail if needed

later on in her life.

heres a even stupider ?? when you are doing the neuro test, can

anyone successfully touch their nose when their eyes are closed??

I am glad I dont drink and drive, heck, I cant touch my nose with my

finger when I am sober, I dont even want to think of trying it in an

altered state of mind.

and then to top of the less than five hours of sleep, our 13 yr old,

extremely angry at life foster son, got mad this morning and tried to

stab me with a leg off of a bookshelf. aint life grand??

someday, I will look back on these days and they will be the good ole

days!!
