Why Not?? And what are you supposed to put on a baby when he/she is in the

sun?

Kim, my doctor said that their sweet glands are not fully develop. They can

have an allergic reaction to the sunscreen or you could clog the glands. I

just went to Florida this past fathers day and we put a hat on SCOTTLYN head

and also my aunt got her a dome bounce bead that has cute stuff that hangs

over her head. Also when you close it up it has a tight net that allows the

air in and keeps the bugs out. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. I did not know that. When my daughter was a baby, I

put sunscreen on her. I didn't think about her having any kind of reaction.

I put some Waterbabies on my son today, so I will keep a close eye on him to

make sure he doesn't have a reaction.

Kim :)

Kim,

Sunscreen is not recommended for babies under six months. They are supposed to

be kept shaded or covered instead.

OT Baby Lotion

From: TATKAT1@...

Has anyone used 's Lotion with the UV protection? I was thinking

about buying some for my son so that I wouldn't have to use sunscreen on him,

but I'm not sure if it would be worth buying. Let me know if it is worth

purchasing. :)

I use it for when we are going to be in the sun late in the day when the

sun isn't so strong! But I would use a regular babies sunscreen for

early in the day! Sue:)

They say to keep the baby out of the sun or under a umbrella because

babies skin is so thin that the suntan lotion will absorb too much in to

the babies skin and it isn't good for them! Sue

A baby under 6 months of age shouldn't be in the sun and isn't supost to wear

sun block.

It's very dangrous for such a small bayb to get that hot.
