Guest guest Posted December 14, 2003 Report Share Posted December 14, 2003 Brat, I was pooped out, and whaddaya mean let the boys take care of me? In your dreams, missy. They were supposed to do their chores this morning before anything else. Yeah, right. I have been having to "supervise", read that nag, them since 10 a.m. I wanted to drive out along the coast today since it's the first sunny day we've had in a month, then have fish and chips somewhere and drive home to a clean house. Forlorn hope. They are still complaining about having to do the chores they put off from yesterday. All they can talk about is what THEY want for Christmas, not one word about who might be in need of help, food or shelter. I was under the impression that our giving to the shelter every year was having a positive effect on them, but I have given up for this year. I just don't have the energy or patience to deal. I am seriously considering sending back their Santa gifts. Both of them have very expensive tastes, and I have to scrimp and save all year to give them one of the items on their wish list.
