Hi

Welcome to the list. Yes, you sure can develop " tolerance " to any

treatement you use for rosacea (as you can for other disorders). Use one

treatement as long as you can, then rotate to something else when you begin

to notice a decline in effectiveness. Or, maybe not use one treatment so

often.

There's a lot of good recommendations on this list. Just keep up and follow

the posts. Most of us have had good success with Zinc Oxide cream which is

frequently used as diaper rash ointment. You can also go to the homepage

and read the past archives.

Good luck.

Chris

Hi:

My name is Deb and I'm sooooooo glad I found this group!!!!

When I read the information on the group, I was immediately drawn to it. I have

suffered with eating disorder since I was 13 and am now 45 years old.

I've been through it all and am currently seeing a dietician who specializes in

eating disorders. Together we are studying the book from Craighead -

Appetite Awareness Training - which is all about tuning into your body and

trusting that it will steer you right.

I need your support because I feel like I am alone in this venture. My sister

is a registered dietician but she has an eating disorder herself and is very

restrictive and hyper-focused on the foods she eats and her body image. I am

trying to get away from this although I admit, I have these tendencies as well.

Thanks for letting me share a bit. I looking forward to making some friends!

Deb

Welcome Deb and I bet you soon find that you feel more at 'home' here than you

have in any other eating/foods discussion group. There's a Book List in the

Files Section on this site which you and your dietician may find value for

reference. Next to IE, I like Overcoming Overeating too. Same basic concepts,

little smaller book ;-) Looking forward to more posts from you.

Best to you, Katcha

IEing since Mach 2007
