Guest guest
Hi I am a newbie. I joined this group a while back. But I have never posted I am a lot older than most of you, and I should know better. But I just can't seem to stop eating. A couple of years ago I lost 70 pounds. I started with giving up sugar. I am a sugar addict. Then I wouldn't eat but one meal a day and plenty of fruit, and nothing for a few hours before I went to bed. But guess what? I have gained just about all of it back. When I was young I went on every diet and took every diet pill the doctor would give me. I finally learned there is no magic bullet or pill. I use to exercise a lot. But I am handicapped now and I can't seem to find anything that don't make me hurt. I got a bicycle but I can't use it because of my knee. So I got a treadmill and it makes my back and hips hurt. (I have broke my back in 4 different places) The doctors tell me I should get some exercise but the way my back and foot it (I had to have my foot fused because of a nerve diease) they can't really tell me too. I just want to find the strength to quit eating all the time. I hope this group can help. forever eating Donna
