Guest guest
Hiya, I have woken up this morning with a mouth full of ulcers would you believe it. Slept for about an hour last night, so absolutely knackered. I went to doctor yesterday and to be honest he was totally useless, he prescribed me kaypake for the neck and shoulder pain. He actually said that I probably knew more about lupus than he did. I had to agree with him. Don't worry about the third degree and to answer you questions I don't have a history of pancreatic pain or IBS and have not been diagnosed as a fibromyalgia patient. Thanks for you reply Lori

Guest guest
Hi all, Please please please tell me how to treat these things. This morning I could hardly eat. I am using corsodol (sp) mouth wash to try to keep my mouth clean. Other than that I'm using nothing. Many thanks Lori
Guest guest
Lori, So many of us have horrible mouth lesions - mine are fairly chronic. Please send a post to the group if you need some suggestions on how to treat them. I sure hope you fired your doctor!!! Guest guest
Lori, Cold, strong Lipton's or other black tea is a good soothing mouthwash when I have mouth sores. I use a cold, used teabag right on the worst ones, and the acid in the tea neutralizes the acid in the mouth and lets the sores heal. There are also commercial mouth washes made with teatree oil, which you can find in most health food stores. Also, go to the main Lupies board and click on the itzarion website and look for the article on mouth sores and treatments for them. That will also give you the info you need. Keep in touch so we know what's happening with you, and give the tea a try. Loving hugs, MM
Guest guest
I was recently diagosised with Sle. I have the same problem. They told me to brush my teeth with a paste containing Baking soda & peroxide. At bedtime don't go to bed without rinsing your mouth out with vinegar. That suppose to kill the bacteria. So far that seems to helping me. -- In LUPIES , Lorianne54321@a... wrote: > Hi all, > > Please please please tell me how to treat these things. This morning I could > hardly eat. Guest guest
Hi a B, Went to the doctors and was prescribed ADCORTYL for my mouth ulcers. To answer your questions I have not been keeping a journal about anything and think maybe I should. I will go down to the shops today and get a note pad to start one up. This should also help me when I attend my specialist as my memory is crap. Thanks for your info Lorianne
Guest guest
Hi Lorianne, Having a sore mouth is nasty, isn't it!! There are prescription preparations that can help. You can use warm salt water rinses or also the over the counter medications used to treat teething pain. With me - mouth ulcers frequently are the first or one of the first signs that I'm headed for trouble. I hope you keep a health journal of symptoms, medications, doctor visits, etc. It will really help you. Re: (no subject) TO MM Hi all,Please please please tell me how to treat these things. Guest guest
Lorianne, I am so glad you were able to get something to help your mouth ulcers. As far as medical journals go I think if you really want the correct diagnosis as fast as possible and the right medications for you then a journal is a must. My medical chart at my doctor's office as so fat it is about due to be purged again. What is taken out is put in another file in the basement or somewhere. So, if he needs to find something from a couple years ago it very well may not be there, but you can sure bet I have my copy with me. Hugs - a B Re: (no subject) TO MM Hi a B,Went to the doctors and was prescribed ADCORTYL for my mouth ulcers.
