Guest guest
mmmmmmm Ben & Jerry's....I've been to their plant in Vermont. It's a fun tour and you get a free sample at the end. Did you know that when they started the company, Ben & Jerry considered a pint to be a serving size?! I was surprised when they said that on the tour. That's why they just made pint size for so many years...so you'd open it and eat it all and it would always be good quality. Once ice cream is opened the quality starts to go down. Just an interesting tidbit for you all! I was surprised because serving sizes have typically gone up over the years (fast food in particular) but they started out thinking a pint was a serving. But I see that their serving size is going down if they are making smaller cups now. Oh and everyone who works for the company can get 3 free pints of ice cream for every day that they work!
