Dawn,

Congratulations on the job. I know this must be a very stressful time for

you, but before you know it you will have a new routine established and

things will be looking up. Are there any tasks on your list that you can give

to Ralph? I know when you are home it is very easy to pick up all of the

everyday tasks, but can you now delegate some of them to hubby?

Having recently gone back to work myself, I've had to get the whip out with

the kids and get them back to their daily chores... is responsible

for folding and putting away the laundry, for emptying the

dishwasher, taking out the trash and shoveling.. Thought this is not a lot it

sure takes some of the stress off of me...

Dear Dawn, It will probably take awhile to settle into a new routine!:)

Good Luck in your new job. Its hard to read the digest thingee I quit that

too. Hey the nice part is that you get to organize your new life and check

in with the list on weekends! Take care and wow them Priscilla

Dawn,

Congratulations on the new job. I think that is wonderful.

It is going to take a while to get your life in order. Don't expect it to

all happen at once. You will get there. Deligate a little. Marriage is a

partnership expecially with both of you working. You will get there. If

being on the computer with us is a pleasure (and we certainly love you

here), it will work itself into your schedule. You can cut down on the

responses, and just answer when

something really hits you that someone has not answered before you.

We certainly miss you, but do what is convenient for your life. Do not

overdo, especially if you are sick and fighting bronchitis. You don't want

to end up flat and be out of work, etc.

Again, so happy for you about your new job.

Take life slowly. Sally

Hi Joni,

Ralph is a HUGE help to me, I'm the type of person though, that takes things

all on my own shoulders. I like giving to people, not taking...it's

something I must work on I suppose! :)

Today I'm well rested, and ready to conquer the things I didn't get done

this week, concentrating on my newly painted bathroom, of which I can now

put up all our new stuff from the wedding! I can't wait! I'm finally gonna

have my " girly " bathroom I've always wanted! LOL! For once in my life, I'll

have matching ensembles in a place I spend little time in! LOL!

Thanks for you input, I'm sure it's just the unknown challenges that are

creeping up a bit!

Dawn:

Wow, you really have a full plate right now (not literally, of course).

Congrats on the new job. You don't say what your profession is, but I am sure you will be a success.

Isn't it amazing how much time taking care of a husband, house and animals takes up? I though things would slow down now that our two daughters are grown, but the weekends are busier than ever!

Good to hear from you. Keep in touch when you can.

Lois
