Stevie,

It was ok, but HECTIC......LOL!! First we went to Vegas on the 17th, came

back on the 20th, I was home for 4 days and Left to my mom's in Idaho for my

little brother's graduation on the 26th.....so I was pretty busy these last

few weeks!

Vegas was nice, However NEXT time I go, I will either leave Lexi with family

or take a babysitter....or just not go at all, Vegas is not really the place

to have kids when you want to have fun......I was kind of dissapointed, it

turned out to be just like I do at home all day......LOL!! But it was ok

And Idaho, was nice, I was happy to see all my family! It had been since last

July when I saw them, and they saw Lexi, so it was great to be able to spend

some time with them!

All in all it was ok, Lexi's schedule has been thrown way off track and we

are still trying to get it back to normal. That has been the hardest part

yet, trying to deal with that, but hopefully she will get back to normal

soon!

Thanks for asking!! And good luck with the teething tablets, I swear by

them.....LOL!!

Glad you got to see your family, & they got to see Lexi :o) You are

right about Vegas, no place for kids. It was probably so good for her to

be around all those people. a was never exposed to many people at

once & she became afraid of her own shadow. LOL She would cry if you

looked at her. is different, he is so mellow. He doesn't care who

holds him, he just likes being around people. Just relax now & get back

into your routine & things will fall into place. I am getting teething

tabs & thanks again :o) Time for me to hit the hay, has been

getting up at night so who knows when he will be up again.

yes it is amazing how much it hurts being that she has no teeth. I sad

ouch really loud today and she let go immediately and frowned.. and stuck

her hand in her mouth. I think she understood that it hurt me. She has

been a little cranky and chewing her fingers but not near as bad as you

are describing. She is sleeping the same as normal right now :) good luck

and let me know if you get/use those tablets so i know how they do :) Jenn:)

I swore by the Hylands tablets during the bad teething days. Just wait until

molars come in.8-(

This is a Dr Sears tip:Press the baby's face into your breast when s/he

bites down, they have to open their mouths to breathe and therefore let go

of num nums. They learn very quickly if you do it consistently. It sounds

awful, but it does work.

Yes you do just put them in thier mouths, and they dissolve almost instantly!

And YES I have heard of teething in strange ways, a women from my birth

boards, her daughter got her top eye teeth FIRST, befoe she had any other

teeth. She said she looked like a vampire.....LOL!

So I would not worry about it!

  • 2 months later...

Actually, they are different from the colic ones but in similar packaging.

I had to ask the pharmacist to help me find them. The box is small and easy

to overlook.

<< Yes - Hyland's teething tablets - available at Target, Walmart, and a

variety of other places. I'm frustrated once again because Corey is showing

signs of teething and seems uncomfortable so I went and bought these today,

got home and read the label. They are in a lactose (milk-sugar) base and he

can't have them because he has this milk-protein allergy. DARN!!! I guess

we'll just stick with teething toys and frozen teething toys. Someone said

they use a knotted washcloth? Any other suggestions?

>>

Are these the same as Hyland's tablets for colic? Those were the only

tablets I saw in the store today and they were by the teething stuff but I

wasn't sure.

Last night I have Hunter an ice cube wrapped in one of his burp clothes.

He seemed to enjoy that alot - although he's always liked ice. He was

pretty

good today so I still don't know if he is teething.
