Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I have just jumped on to the back of this email as I can't seem to post direct. I know I was leaving and I've tried to do it in digest form but it hasn't worked yet! Anyway - just wanted you all to know that today I presented a new adjustable chair to a severely disabled little boy today in Lochie's memory. It was purchased with the money we raised for his one year memorial and second birthday party. The little boy (Sam) is only one month older than Lochie and was a real sweetie. I am so glad that another sweet little boy is benefiting even though we are still so very sad about Lochie. There was also money left over to buy a new version corner chair for a nine month old little girl. Donna xx Thanks I slept little last night and still have a huge knot in my stomach over the parent-teacher conference yesterday, however, have a trip to get ready for and am bound and determined to not let this affect our time together in Hawaii. I am not going to get the chance to respond to everyone's wonderful posts before I leave, so wanted to let you all know how much I appreciate the support and ideas you all have shared with me about this. I WILL respond when we get back, just need to concentrate on important things like packing and stuff right now!! LOL Thank you thank you thank you.......your responses HAVE helped me and are making it possible for me to "let this go" for right now and concentrate on the important things. I know you'll all be here to support and help me when we get back and tackle this head on. Should be a very interesting ride!!! BIG hugs, Kass.......almost Hawaii bound!! Please contact mito-owner with any problems or questions.

Guest guest
Donna: That is so cool!!! What a neat idea. I know it has always been in the back of my mind already that if something should happen to Leah because of this disease where her memorial funds would go to. Just think that you are helping out two children and bringing so much joy to not only them but to their families. And you should feel proud. So sorry to hear that you are still so sad about Lochie. But it does take time and of course when you are doing something so neat like this it brings the memories so much closer to the surface and to your heart. Guest guest
Donna What a wonderful way to honor and remember Lochie. Of course you still miss him, I'm sure you always will, but hopefully each and every day will ease the pain and you will be able to remember the happy times. Guest guest
Melinda, Glad to hear that you had a good birthday??? Hope it really was. I'm sorry to hear that you have had to increase the prednisone. I'm slowly trying to decrease mine again. I'm down to 8mg because I've doubled the Arava to 20mg. My joints are starting to play up and my bowel motions are up to about 6 a day (up to 10 on bad days) so I'll not decrease the pred any further for a while. What are you on now? What are you hoping to achieve with the operation? Sorry, I missed out on why you were having this one. Have a good break while you are away. Enjoy it. (((Hugs))) RobynMelinda Hohenberger wrote: Dear friends, Thanks for all the birthday cards and greetings. Your thoughtfulness is very much appreciated. I am doing better although on much more prednisone than I would like--am weining slowly...but as I do, the pain increases. I sure hope this upcoming surgery will do the trick, but honest to God, I wonder if I am doing the right thing; Sara and I will be going to OKlahoma next week for spring break. Mark is going to CA with his church youth group. I think he would get too bored around my family. Bob will enjoy some peace and quiet for a change. I will write more later. Everyone take care. Thanks again for remembering me.Love,MelindaPlease visit our website at:http://ACES_Autoimmune.tripod.com Find local movie times and trailers on Yahoo! Movies.
