Guest guest
Kathy, I am having a total knee done on my left knee. They are going to remove all the plastic hardware and clean the knee completly out and replace it with the titanium parts. Hopefully, this will take caer of the inflammation although I still have my doubts. But I feel like I am stuck between a rock and a hard place. the pain is overwhelming at times and makes me sick, literally. thanks for your concern. Keep us in your prayers. Guest guest
Will do. I was thinking that's what you were having done. My Mom had both her knees replaced the other year and other than some occasional discomfort when the weather turns cold, she has no pain in that area at all. Guest guest
Melinda.....I bet this will be better for you....My brother had two titanium hip replacements in his 40's.....When he was a child he had Legg Perthes and it wore his hip joints away....When they first wanted to try the titanium, the government allowed them 210 replacements that were to be followed for 10 years....My brother qualified for 2 of them (each hip).....The 10 years has long passed and he is still doing great with the replacements.....
