Fla. officials struggle with school restraint rule

Without warning, an autistic teenager upends a table in the school library and then for a split second he remains seated until two teachers grab him, pull him to his feet and struggle to control him.

Two more adults join the fray before they manage to push the teen face-down onto a blue mat and hold him there.

Some advocates for disabled children say a surveillance video depicting that and other scenes of the teen being thrown down or forcibly removed from a classroom at Orlando's Princeton House Charter School shows why Florida should ban the use of physical restraints from the state's classrooms.
