Guest guest
So that's what that was called! Prior to my arthroplasty, I was IV sedated and the doc tried some manipulations to try and get my jaw open...he did succeed a bit, but as soon as I woke up, it stayed locked....but I'll ask about it. Maybe they can find out if I'm in trouble again! Thanks! Joan > > TMJ is the whole reason for my consideration of orthognathic > > surgery. Guest guest
Joan: I was just looking at www.tmj.org site, and saw something you might be interested in. Have you ever checked out this site? There is a Question/Answer section. I think they call it " Ask TMJ " or something like that, and one of the questions related to musicians & wind instruments. You can get to it directly by: www.tmj.org/contac.asp). > > > TMJ is the whole reason for my consideration of orthognathic > > > surgery.
