So that's what that was called! :) Prior to my arthroplasty, I was

IV sedated and the doc tried some manipulations to try and get my jaw

open...he did succeed a bit, but as soon as I woke up, it stayed

locked....but I'll ask about it. Maybe they can find out if I'm in

trouble again! Thanks! Joan

Joan: I was just looking at www.tmj.org site, and saw something you

might be interested in. Have you ever checked out this site? There

is a Question/Answer section. I think they call it " Ask TMJ " or

something like that, and one of the questions related to musicians &

wind instruments. You can get to it directly by:
