a masters in psychology, a certification in applied behavior analysis, an

ESE K-12 teaching certificate and a background in dance/movement therapy (the

psychotherapeutic use of movement and dance for emotional, cognitive, social,

behavioural and physical conditions), Michele Iemolo offers a

multidimensional approach in working with children and adolescents with special

needs and creates an individualized treatment plan to meet your child’s

specific needs.

Through

skilled observation and interaction, Michele is able to meet your child where

they are and gently guide them towards improved functioning. By taking

your child’s nonverbal and symbolic communications seriously and helping to

broaden, expand and clarify them, Michele demonstrates her immediate desire and

ability to understand and accept your child on a deep and genuine level.

Michele utilizes nonverbal information as building blocks to aid in the

development of verbal language, social awareness and communication.
