Guest guest
From a Poker Dictionary (I dont mean the first definition particularly!): sponsor 1. (n) Someone buying you a drink or meal. If someone offers you a drink at the table, when you call the cocktail waitress, you can say, " Bring me a drink; I've got a sponsor. " 2. Someone who puts up (bankrolls; see bankroll) a player's buy-in, usually to a tournament, in exchange for a portion of the profits, if any. 3. (v) Pay someone's buy-in to a game or entry to a tournament, in exchange for a portion of the profits, if any.
