Hi fellow IEers!

First of all - there is a wonderful Martha Beck article in Oprah in the June issue. Martha is the author of many books. I own the book "The 4 day Win" - it really opened me up to IE when I discovered it. It really helped me work through some old demons. I wish Oprah would listen to some of the people who put wonderful stuff in her magazine instead of the diet gurus.

Secondly, I have discovered something about condiments! I enjoy my food so much more and eat so much more mindfully when things aren't smothered in one. For instance - I scrambled eggs and hashbrowns actually have taste and texture! The other night we went out to eat - I was exhausted from work and then push mowing our lawn for 2 1/2 hours. I ordered the battered fish and fresh cut fries. I took a few bites when I got it - then smothered it in ketchup. It was all gone in a the blink of an eye. IT ALL TASTED THE SAME! My husband looked at my plate and said "I guess you were hungry!". But I didn't really enjoy it!
