Because the Pancrease is susceptible to being broken down too early in the digestive tract by the extra acid that is produced when you eat, a acid-reducer is needed. In order for the Pancrease to be available to digest fats as it should, the docs give Tagamet to decrease the acid first so the Pancrease is not broken down before it can be useful. does that help? ===== Diane Hollister dhollis062@...
