Guest guest
Hi, marymurphywork: You said, in part: <<As far as journaling.. .I'm not good with it either. To me, it's keeping diet mentality alive and well..and I want to let that go. Actually, just posting here and reading posts is a type of journaling.. and good enough for me.>>Well, the journaling part of it regarding food and/or feelings is relation to my eating is not necessary for me right now, yes, as you said the boards are a form of journaling. Of course, I wouldn't get too personal on a board, but then I get "personal" when I pray and God keeps track of my "journal." :-) Some people like journaling, as I said, I have nothing against it but when I did keep track of my foods (and feelings) in reference to eating, I did become a little obsessed. And I didn't lose weight. :-)<<Anyway, these are my thoughts for today. I want to thank all of you for your continual posts...we all have so much in common and the support of doing and going through this together is very powerful...in a good way.>>I agree. cindi
Guest guest
Hi CINDI ~ Thanks for your post. Yah...just want to make sure everyone knows, that when I talked about journaling not being for me, doesn't make it right or wrong, bad or good. Just, not for me, right now. For others, I'm sure it's very helpful and therefore should be done. We each have to find what helps and works for us. There was a time when I did journal about feelings and stuff and it was extremeley helpful, so there is a time and place for everything. > > Hi, marymurphywork: You said, in part: <<As far as journaling.. .I'm not good with it either.
