Guest guest
Hi all, Well, Hyperelastic skin is most often seen in the Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. What do we know about EDS weight loss? I need to reduce my abdomen size in case I have a pelvis tumor -- again! Or might need other surgery in the future. My abdomen now can be huge due to bloat, or flat & indented or whatever shape it decides to be. It is my abdomen that has the most elastic " shape-sifting " skin. I feel if I lose some weight/inches and get my belly toned, it would help in my future diagnosis. Yet, for years now I cannot lose weight. Also, all of my weight is in the " male " pattern, that is, in my stomach area. With EDS however, I rotate through body shapes. So, I do not know my real shape. Me, not bloated is very nice. After standing, however, things sag and bloat :-<. As for my type of EDS skin. My legs have the stretchy spandex type skin with stretch marks everywhere. My waist has the soft doughy rolls that hangs. My hubby has named the three rolls. And, these rolls do not stay, they come and go in cycles. Any weight loss information would be appreciated especially about methods to reduce the excess skin. Or do EDSers require tummy tucks? Caro with spandex skin.
