The Florida Center for Inclusive Communities of the University of South Florida is pleased to announce an exciting training opportunity for professionals in behavior analysis, positive behavior support, family support, and developmental disabilities.

Help & Hope: Providing Positive Behavior Support to Difficult to Engage Families

This exciting, day-long workshop will introduce and provide preliminary skill building in Positive Family Intervention (PFI), a process that combines instruction in positive behavior support and optimism training. Using PFI, participants will learn how to challenge and replace parental self-talk that may interfere with their adoption and follow through with behavioral interventions. The presenters will provide compelling data on the outcomes associated with this model and share participant case studies that demonstrate the process and techniques used to guide and support families.
