so, on november 19th, i go in to see my endo again

after 1 month (well, it will be 5 weeks by then) on

30mg (1/2 grain) of armour. unless something radical

happens in the next four weeks, i will be asking her

to increase my dose. how should that happen? is

going from 30 to 60 too big a jump? do i need to go

to 45 first? for how long? how long do we need to

wait between dosage increases?

thanks so much in advance.

rachel.

> what's up with the iron? i feel like i'm missing something.

, for some reason, lots of hypo folks are low in Ferritin.

Ferritin refers to storage iron. And if you are low in Ferritin, it

can cause problems down the line as you try to raise your Armour.

It's wise to get it tested.

i have heard this alluded to, but have never been able to find

anything written about it.

i found an article that was about a patient named michelle, and a

conversation woliner had with her about the different tests. is that

the one you are referring to? i wish that i could find one that was

more technical, one that my doctor might actually respect, you know?

any suggestions?

i'm glad that i pushed until the antibodies were tested, otherwise i'd

still be suffering even more with no idea why. but frankly, i don't

know why my doctor is treating me. i don't think it's because i have

antibodies. my suspiscion is that she's only treating me trying to

shrink my goiter and nodules. if they don't shrink, then we go FNA.
