I know NT kids who could use these sorts of classes. Most don't know how to properly do dishes, laundry, etc. and worse, they use ATM cards and don't know how a checkbook register works. They think overdraft protection means they can spend what they want and put it in later... sheesh. As for employability... work ethic seems to have gone into the toilet somewhere between WWII and now. When I hire kids to do various jobs they want to work for five minutes and take twenty minute breaks.

New Charter High School Expands Program:

 

Renaissance Learning Academy: Preparation for Life, Florida's newest Charter HS for youth with Autism/Asperger's is expanding it's program to include Career Placement for youth under the age of 21 who have completed High School with a Special Diploma.
