Guest guest
Glad to see you back and better. How much Loraxapam were they giving you? Kathy Overdose Hi everyone.....Well, I'm back with a much clearer head and mobility.....Seems I was overdosed on Lorazapam.....It was given to me AM and PM and it was onlyfor me to take when I felt I needed it (which is never).....I couldn't walk or think or talk straight.....When my nurse came Tuesday, she was really upset.....I gotrid of the nurses that were sent to me, who were doubling some of my meds and totally missed my seizure meds....etc......And I did end up haveing a seizure on Sunday......I have my old nurse back, whowatchs me very carefully.....I am feeling better and able to think and move.....She said it was like me being on a serious drunk, and if I had kept taking them with all my other meds, I would have ended up in the hospitalas an overdose......Just what I needed.....And they don't let me miss with my meds for fear of this happening.....hahaha...... Guest guest
Oh geez Pam - Just what you needed. I'm glad you got your old nurse back!! What they couldn't read the bottles, or just didn't care???? That's upsetting for sure. Hugs,

Guest guest
Pam, I'm glad they discovered what the problem was (including the nurses) and straightened everything out. That dosage of Lorazapam does sound a bit high. Not a bad idea if you really need it but obviously you didn't. Glad you got your old nurose back. Take care of yourself.
