Guest guest
LOL - he was 10 lbs at birth. And he was 10 days late. I asked the ped if my diet which is somewhat high in fat would affect his weight gain and she said, no, it would not. Even so, I think I will try to eat a little more healthily. He's outgrowing clothes and diapers! I can't keep up! > > > > Wow, !! That is incredible? Are you sure you aren't feeding him > solids?! > How much was he at birth again?? > > They should've paraded the two of you all thru the clinic and the post > partum ward saying *this* is what a breastfed baby looks like. > > >

Try to buy clothes with more room to grow, and not clothes made by weight. the 0-6 month clothes are more forgiving... as are two-piece outfits. Ill never forget when had a massive growth spurt around his second month... a little one-piece sleeper that my SIL gave us was one of my favorites... One day I put it on him (had just pulled it out of a laundry basket) and headed for my neighbors house who was going to watch him. She lifted him up into the air, and his poor little feet couldnt strecth out! His knees were bent and his toes were curled up in it. I swear he had just worn it the week prior, too! It was really funny. did something similar... but around his first bday. I was nursing him in my lap at the computer before bedtime. I looked down at his feet and they were purplish, and I thought maybe cold. When I looked closer, his nightie was strangling his ankles they had gotten so fat! I had to cut the legs up the seam -- cause there was no way I was waking him! lol
