Guest guest
Louise! I knew we had something else in common! I get boils ALL THE TIME!!! I usually get them around my waist line, inner thigh area, and my butt at times. They hurt like a b**** until the head comes out, but until then, seems to drive me bonkers...YOU? I've always been told that that's my bodies way of fighting some sort of an infection.....is it actually an infection that causes these? Now I'm confused! One thing I do know, is if you get one of those, when they do finally let go, I would imagine ANY open sore is a danger/risk to further infection, so for your sake, I think it was a VERY WISE decision to postpone the surgery TEMPORARILY until you're clear of the open areas. You sure as heck don't want to risk anything from entering in the body after ANY surgery, as you're immune system is lowered after surgery to begin with. Hang in there sweetie, sending humongous and generous hugs, and kisses (in a fashionable way of course!) LOL! Dawn -----Original Message-----From: LuAn248@... I get ugly boils, never know when... Until they break, they are very sore, but after they drain and stop with the help of Antibiotic, I am fine. Sounds ugly I know. Have been getting them since I have been five years old. No one seems to be able to get rid of them. The one good thing, is Dr Thayer knew exactly what it was, and feels he can get rid of them. Wouldn't that be a miracle in itself? In the mean time, I will just have to wait for a new date.. Thanks for your concern! Louise
