I am going to continue working on eating just until the hunger passes.  It's been very helpful to me so far!  It really only took me about 3 days to really start to dislike the feeling of a full stretched tummy, and realize that even when I stop MUCH before I would usually (with full permission to eat again as soon as I'm hungry), I'm frequently NOT hungry as soon as I expect to be, or I get caught up in other stuff and just don't think about it for a while.  However, I've been able to do this without a 'diet' or 'willpower' mentality finally!! - we made a black forest cake yesterday and usually I would eat a big piece just because it's good and it's a lot of work to make it ... but I had half a piece and enjoyed it but really didn't want any more, so that's all I had.  yay me LOL :)

I'm also more aware of when I am thirsty as opposed to hungry, and starting to dislike  foods that make me feel bloated.  Last night I took the kids to a Burger King that has a big play area so they could burn off some energy (it rained most of the weekend), and the fish sandwich and fries I had actually tasted pretty horrible.  I didn't finish them, but I still felt like I'd been dumped in a vat of salty fat for hours afterwords .... yuck!!

So I really feel like I'm on the right track, and am going to keep my awareness 'up' this week too :)
