Guest guest
One of the side effects of Strattera is anorexia, as in NO appetite. My daughter who was on this drug basically stopped eating. She would look at her dinner plate and not be able to take a bite. Ritalin and it's " friends " like all stimulant also create a lack of appetite but it goes away when off the drug. The problem was constant with strattera and she lost 10 lbs in 2 weeks. Of course we had to stop the medication. Shirly Shirly Gilad BCBA,RN, FNP, MS Behavioral Therapy and then some. It’s worth emphasizing that in this study, neither the age at which stimulant therapy began nor its duration was associated with subsequent substance use disorders, added Dr. Biederman, who is chief of the clinical and research program in pediatric psychopharmacology and adult ADHD at Massachusetts General Hospital.
