VR and Autism Spectrum Disorders Project Service Provider Directory

This new resource is a directory of specialty counselors (or lead counselors) dealing with individuals with ASD who are interested in seeking vocational rehabilitation service supports. This directory is intended to help consumers and families initiate contacts with the VR system.

Upcoming Webcast featuring Don Uchida

The featured presenter is Don Uchida, Executive Director, Utah State Office of Rehabilitation. Mr. Uchida has served citizens with disabilities in Utah for nearly 40 years in the Office of Rehabilitation and its divisions.

Ohio Center for Autism and Low Incidence VR and Autism Spectrum Disorders Project exchanges information with other projects related to autism and employment across the nation. This month, we are highlighting the work of the Ohio Center for Autism and Low Incidence (OCALI). OCALI serves families, educators, and professionals working with students with autism and low-incidence disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders, multiple disabilities, orthopedic impairments, other health impairments, and traumatic brain injuries. OCALI has created several tools related to Autism and transition, including a downloadable set of Autism Transition to Adulthood Guidelines and 16 web casts that focus on adult issues.
