Sandi, that's WONDERFUL!!!! I'm so happy for you. I'm sitting here, barely

awake, drinking coffee, and after reading your post about the booth and your

feelings, and I have misty eyes. It warms my heart so much to hear the

transformation of our feelings.

Hello All My WLS Pals!!!

I know I don't post much but I do read all the posts. I just had to post

this morning and share my good news! Welcome the new member of the

century

club!! Climbed on the scales this morning and I am down 102.5 pounds!!!

I

never thought I would see the day I had lost 100 pounds. This surgery has

been a life saver for me! I know I still have 122 pounds to go to my goal

(I hope my goal is a realistic one) but I wouldn't trade the changes that

have already occurred for anything and I would have the surgery again in a

minute!! My proudest moment so far was this past weekend when we went out

to eat to a Mexican restaurant. They were very full so they put us in a

booth. Yes, automatically my mind says " I'll never fit! " but low and

behold

I could not only fit in the booth seat but I could even put my legs up

under

me in the seat and still have plenty of room!! I felt almost skinny!!

LOL!

Just wanted to share my joy with everyone that understands where I am

coming from and encourage those who are just starting out on this journey.

It is a long curvy road but it is a wonderful trip!!!

Skinny Wishes to Everyone!!

and Janice, I know both Dixon and Fremont. My best friend used to

live in Fremont (until she died....very sad), and my brother lived in Dixon.

I also have relatives in Sacto, Elk Grove, Redwood City, Burlingame, and

Mtn. View. I love it that it seems so close.....as opposed to the east

coast.

What a small world, most people have never heard of Dixon, I hadn't

until I moved here. We must all get together some day. Janice

Mandy, that's such a relief. I would be a nervous wreck having to stay

away. I'm so glad you still have good views too. It is a beautiful area.

yes, mediatory evacuation which lasted for two weeks. Stressfull. Our

community, while surrounded by fire, was spared. The houses, the views,

the

pine trees, wild animals, all in tact when we finally arrived home.

We were lucky Joan... very lucky and very blessed.

it is indeed, Joan... as is the area in which you live. " Lifestyle " ... this

was a lifestyle choice for hubby and I. Not for everyone, lol... living in

harmony with nature... the squirrels, the coyote, the deer and the brown bear.

Mandy, I love looking outside in the a.m. and seeing 2 deer grazing on the

front lawn, our cat chasing the squirrels (dumb cat even fights them), the

quail on the back lawn. You're right, it is a lifestyle choice and we love

the peacefulness of it, but can still go to the " big city " to shop, etc.

I just noticed you're down 3#!!! WTG. Didn't you say you had surgery years

ago?
