Guest guest
Hello, My name is Faith Greenwell and I am here to offer my services as a Nanny/Tutor/Verbal Behavior Therapist for children with autism. In my most recent job for the last 8 months, I was a Nanny for two amazing boys: a five year old boy diagnosed with Autism and a 3 year old diagnosed as Developmentally delayed. With the 3 year old boy, I participated in the NOVA C.A.R.D. 4 week " Play/Interactive " Therapy Program. Also, I successfully completed 5 Webinars in Computer Based Intervention(CBI) primarily for Speech Language Pathologists with Herskowitz. I utilized it to improve and enhance both receptive and expressive language in the Developmentally Delayed child. In addition, I possess several engaging language tools, writing and sensory fine motor activities and manipulatives. I am a big believer in reading a variety of genres, I regularly took the 3 year old to the Library for storytelling, checked out 4-5 books weekly, and strived to make reading a fun and engaging activity for him on a daily basis. I possess a B.A. in Psychology, have my Teaching Eligibility Certification from the D.O.E. for Kindergarten through the 6th Grade. In addition, I worked as a tutor for Bright Minds tutorials for several months and my testimonial can be seen on their website: http://www.brightmindstutorials.com/testimonials.html Also, I worked as a Verbal Behavior Therapist with Behavior Analysis utilizing the PEC system. Ideally, I am looking for an opportunity to work at least 30-35 hours a week. With regard to cost, the average rate of a babysitter/nanny in my area is around $10-12 an hour. Because of my training and education, my baseline will be about $14 an hour. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you. My email address is FaithAGreenwell@... Best regards, Faith Greenwell
