Guest guest
Hello listmates, my son is going to be 5 years old in a week. For last 2 years he was receiving 6 hours of home program (ABA) funded by the Regional Center for developmentally disabled, and 4 hours of home program funded by the school district. The Regional center wants to stop his services because he is turning 5. I feel that he really needs the home program. Could you give me advice what to do? I do not know what my rights are. Should I ask the school district to increase the services? I asked already but it seems they are not going to talk to me until I come with an attorney. Is there any way to ask the Regional center to keep the services? What should I tell them? Thank you Margaret
