am worried about you ... please do check. And too, you have a DR

appointment coming up soon. A few days, yes?? Please make a list of your

concerns

BEFORE you see him. Sometimes we forget to ask those questions that are

important and have plagued us most ... because were... you know .. " excited " .

That

happens to me all the time.

you are a loving thoughtful soul ....your grandson is lucky to have you for

Mandy, I thought my resolve was all in place with sweets, but it certainly

shows me to be extra vigilant. A 2-hour walk is incredible!!!!! I thought

of it earlier, but as it's snowing here, I stayed in. The mailbox is only

about 600', but I bailed and took the car. I'm feeling really exhausted

and sort of foggy-headed, so once again made an excuse to take it light

today. I think I'll get the stretch bands, and at least get some movement

that way. My blood pressure this afternoon is 87/60 and I think that

feeling tired was one of the symptoms, so I'll go back and read the article

again. I'm trying to get up enough ambition to make my son some chocolate

chip cookies for his birthday. He doesn't get home from work until 9:30,

but wanted to celebrate some. He always opens his birthday stuff on Xmas.

I think it cheats him out of a birthday, but he's too curious to leave it.

I am watching the bp closely. If it still seems low, I won't take the

medicine tomorrow. Monday a.m. I see the doctor, and it's at the top of my

list. I'm pathetic about making lists.....without them, I'd be lost.

bahhh .....losing weight is like having babies Joan, ... parenting and

loving .... IT NEVER ENDS .. its an ongoing process/struggle/joy.... ok ok ...

its

hell too sometimes ... but this all goes with the territory of ... " loving "

oneself. And for the record I have reached my " dream goal many times over "

.... then ugh, snug up during times of crisis ... /chaos .. gain some ...

loose some ... gain some .. loose some ...but maraculously after WLS ... I've

been

able to, you know, keep the weight more or less in check ...

Mandy, just noticed you're down another #. Bet you thought I wouldn't

notice. LOL. You're at the stage I'm nervous about. Hope when I get there

I can keep my resolve to end this weight issue for life.

I forgot to ask you. Your remarkable transformation from " puppet " to

walking 2-3 hours a day.....have you been taking the gelatin for a long

time? When I hear you talking about the progress you've made, I am awed!

So incredibly remarkable! This surgery is indeed a life-saving device, as

long as we make the most of it.
