I felt I had to write and share with all of you,

especially the newbies, how well I am doing these days. I had a horribly

painful and depressing problem with my stoma between the

pouch and intestine closing up. I couldn't even swallow my own spit. It went on

like that for 8 weeks post-op. But, three scope and

dilations later I am on my way to good health and happiness. The third time was

the charm. I have been pain free and able to eat

really well for nearly three months. I've lost 64 lbs since July 21st and am

looking forward to being able to exercise. I even bought an

adult tricycle.

be discouraged. Hang in there, listen to good advice,

and take it one day at a time. It will get better.
