What kind of prune juice is legal?

Hi everyone:

My son also has constipation since about a month after starting the SCD. A

post recently recommended prune juice or prune juice and Tropicana OJ. What

brand of prune juice is legal. I checked the site and couldnt find it.

I've never heard Elaine mention a legal prune juice, so I am

assuming any is fine as long as there are no added sugars. Another

option is to just boil down some prunes. I have never done this (we

tend to get the D instead of the C). I'm going to double check with

the other moderators to make sure I am not giving you misinformation.

Hi Melinda,

Welch's makes a legal prune nectar. Welch's also makes legal prune juice. If

you plan to use the prune juice for the constipation protocol

need to simmer it down to about half of its original volume.
