Hello,

My name is Cheezem and I am here to try and find supervised independent fieldwork per Behavior Analyst Certification Board requirements, especially in either Dade or Broward counties (I live in Weston).

I have a bachelor's degree in psychology (minor in East Asian Studies) from Clemson University and have worked in the clinical field ever since shortly after my graduation in 2007.

I recently completed the coursework for Nova Southeastern University's BCABA/BCBA (Board Certified [Associate] Behavior Analyst) certification program (the full BCBA coursework) with a 4.0 GPA. I have also completed two semesters of clinical practicum work at the Mailman Segal Institute (most of this work was done in the Baudhuin Preschool). I have also worked for UM-NSU CARD (Center for Autism and Related Disabilities), assisting with the running of several support and/or social skills groups for autistic children and teenagers and am presently working on a book on autism-related issues.

I am also autistic (Asperger's diagnosis) and perseverate on psychology -- and especially autism research. I am somewhat active in (albeit relatively new to) the broader autistic community. I have participated in the Dan Marino Foundation's Autube.tv project on two occasions, once recording the introduction to a question (yet unposted) and also as a featured commenter on this month's question ( http://www.autube.tv/question/2009/september ).

In addition, I speak Japanese conversationally (albeit not fluently) and am officially certified in the written language to the level of a native incoming third-grader (my actual skill level being somewhat higher than this, but lower than that of a native incoming fourth-grader).

Ideally, I am looking for at least 30 hours per week of work, 30 of which should count towards BACB requirements. Copies of my resume and references are available on request.

If you are looking to hire -- or even just know of someone who may be doing so -- please contact me at CheezeA@... .

Gratefully,

Cheezem
