Guest guest
Doctor Joan is self-diagnosing herself (maybe a mistake), but the dizziness was really major, and didn't go away even after sitting. It was enough to make me sick to my stomach, and lasted an hour plus. I did find my blood pressure cuff (not used for about 3 years because new medication finally worked). I did take my son's bp too to test somewhat of an accurate reading. Mine was 119/69, so fine today, and no dizziness. I go to the weight clinic on Monday, and they'll check me then. Thanks for everyone's input. Joan LAP RNY 11/18/03 Dr. Higa, Fresno, CA 282pre-op/275surg/242/

Marvelous that the Doc cut your Zestril to 10mg., evidence that your body is normalizing .. getting healthy. Wonderful news. A blessing. Good for you, good news indeed. Guest guest
Mandy, this a.m. I wasn't sure which doctor to go with, the one changing Zestril to 10mg. or 20mg. Decided to go with my primary doctor who prescribed it and took 20 mg. Just got back from town and checked it, and was 102/51. The 51 scared me, so I'm keeping tabs on it, and tomorrow a.m. I'm dropping it to 10 mg. What I don't know is it the medication stops working right away, or if it's in the body still working on the blood pressure. Yes!!!! the phasing away of another medication! Psychologically I'm loving it. Drugs felt like a noose around my neck. I'll feel so much better when this light-headedness (actually also like a fogginess) in my head quits. I'll probably have my granddaughter for 2-3 days over the New Year's, so decided as I've already been out for 3 hours this a.m., I'm rebelling and only doing the laundry today.....NOTHING ELSE!!!! Thanks so much for your concern and constantly " up " personality. That and laughter seem to keep me in a very happy place.
