OT - Meeting guys on the net WAS OT....anyone know the best place to find cheap hotel rates?

I met my ex bf on IRC too! We chatted for a year and a half, then

December 1996 he confessed to having feelings for me, he visited me in

February 1997 and moved from Canada to Israel 2 months later. We lived

together for 3 years, then broke up but he stayed in Israel and we're

very good friends still (me him and his new gf <g>).

Back then meeting on the net WAS pretty unique. But nowadays I think

it's a pretty 'regular' way to meet guys (and gals) and your family

should know this. I hope it works out well, Lori .

And about IRC - does anyone know if there are LC channels on IRC? If so,

where ? (and when ?)
