A few months ago saw my GI specialist and was dismissed due to no symptoms on the barium enema. [Any problem stretched out of the way during the test.] Later at my Gynecologist, I was dismissed as totally healthy. She said my skin was thin and dry. They referred me to an uro-gyneclogist [because of my low & high BP spikes]. I was later dismissed because I could not feel pain. Arrrrg. But I am learning. Since May I now know I am EDS and " insensitive to pain. " I read that EDSer tissue problems do not show on typical scans. I am beginning to wonder that perhaps inflammation and swelling and or redness also do not register on the tests and/or scans. I do have a plan. Wish me luck. Caro.
