Guest guest Posted January 1, 2001 Report Share Posted January 1, 2001 , If you're craving chips wicked bad, take a SMALL potatoes, cut thin, spray PAM on a cookie sheet, place sliced potatoes on this, sprinkle with salt, and if you like, add flavors (garlic powder, onion, chives) and bake at 350 for about 20 minutes, or until tender...makes a healthy chip if you're having a PMS day for sure! LOL! Dawn I'm not sure of the caloric intake on the Matzo balls, but if the potatoes pancakes are fried like I cook them (German), they're high in fat big time. Rayna Thanks, Rayna. I think I got in trouble with the potato pancakes because of Hanukah. But since that's over now, I am done with it. I actually thought the matzo balls were a good idea because they are so soft, but also had some calories. At the time I was eating them, I wasn't really eating much else, and I was concerned that I was not taking in enough calories. Do you think they are that bad? I made them much smaller than normal. Other than that, I have not had any sweets or any junk food, even though I am really craving chips. But you are right - I have totally re-thought how I deal with food and eating.
