Guest guest
That is wonderful I am so happy for you. Eva That's great !! Before IE, I went to WW for 3 years. It's really hard to break free! Good luck finding something happy for your homepage!! From: Ellis <juliedelliscomcast (DOT) net>To: IntuitiveEating_Support Sent: Tuesday, June 16, 2009 4:05:45 AMSubject: Cancelled Weight Watchers! I just cancelled my online subscription which I've had for years. I decided that if I was going to be serious about Intuitive Eating, I had to totally turn my back on dieting. Now when I open my browser, I don't get weight watchers, I get nothing. As soon as I find something that makes me happy, I'll put that in its place. Be smarter than spam. Guest guest
That's an excellent step . And one where you are changing your focus from EXternal (what others tell you) to INternal (what you want for yourself). My home page is a weather one! Best to you, Katcha IEing since March 2007 > > I just cancelled my online subscription which I've had for years. Guest guest
I just cancelled WW too, yesterday, in fact. I liked the message boards there as some of you have mentioned. Now I'm not so sure. I checked them out again yesterday afternoon and noticed/realized that the majority of them are all about good food/bad food, points and guilt....exactly what I need to get away from.... I think I need to stay away from there as I'm learning this IE program. I find it so freeing. I feel so much better physically, emotionally and mentally. I haven't felt this way in years and years. n IntuitiveEating_Support , " Katcha " wrote: > > Congrats on the babystep . Don't sweat eating the dessert, you were aware of why you ate it and that is an excellent place to start from. As many others have found, over time that feeling of 'obligation' will lessen and become more YOUR choice than not :) > > Best to you, Katcha > IEing since March 2007 > > > > > > Yes, the best thing about WW was the community. That's why I knew I had to find an IE group. I discovered I need that support. > > > > In good news, I went out to dinner tonight, felt like having a hamburger and fries, which I did, but couldn't eat all of. In bad news, when a big ice cream and brownie dessert came to the table, I ate my share even though I really didn't want it. I just felt " obligated.
