Guest guest
It is hard to break patterns and habits. Even though this diet or way of life or whatever you want to call it is healthy, ANY change to your lifestyle/way of eating WILL take some time to get used to (sorry for the split infinitive). When I gave up sugar, I decided to just go " cold turkey " and not try to alleviate the sugar cravings with " substitutes " . That means I do not eat anything with sugar in it. No matter how bad I would love to drink that cup of sweet tea or glass of sweet tea, or coffee with milk and sugar, pancakes with syrup........(you get the drift), I will not do it---it would just lead me down that road of sugar addiction again. The same is true with bread, dough or for that matter anything made with flour--whole wheat included. Yes I eat whole wheat bread, but in moderation. I know the triggers for my body. For those addicted to diet sodas, yes, let's cut them some slack. They, afterall, are the ones doing the diet for themselves. They have to find their own way--good or bad, success for failure in the weight loss department. What is positive about the Beach is that the food tastes good and is good for you, but more importantly it gives me a strong supply of " even " energy througout the day. No way " ups " and way " downs " . Just my two cents,
