Guest guest
Hi. My name is Markie and I have chronic or recurrent pancreatitis. I was in a head-on collision in 1966. My pancreas was ruptured and a pseudocyst formed. I had surgery to drain the pseudocyst in 1966 following 80 some days in the hospital. Surgery for the same thing was done again in May of 1968. I did pretty well until another auto accident in 1996. Neither wreck was my fault, but I have paid a great price with the injury to my pancreas. It was folloiwng the MVA in 1996, after arguing with doctors and trying to convince them to check out my pancreas. It is a pain that you don't soon forget, if ever you do forget it. The struggle with the doctors appears to be a common thing as they look for everything under the sun to blame the problem on. Now I have almost daily pain and continual nausea with intermittent vomiting. From what I have read on this site, I am not alone. I am glad you are out there, but sorry for the reason that has brought each of this to this place. Hope to talk with you all sometime via email. Thanks for being there!
