Guest guest
Howdy all! I am home, stiched and stapled from my breasts to my belly buttom, but feeling pretty good. As for my fears, like I told the doctor, wake me up, I will do the rest. Before I woke up fully, well....Soneone slapped something in my had ask kept telling me to push the button, Push the Button!. Wanting to be a good paient, I did, a few too many times. But after they figured out that I don't do buttons well (I was just trying to be good, really..lol), everything has been fine. In fact, much MUCH less pain than I thought there would be. Coughing and laughing have been interesting, and as a recent non smoker, my guess is the breathing tube broke up some nasty stuff in my lungs, and after one big fit of coughing (Now that HURT!) I got up some old stuff, and since, I have had good sats, and recover from a bout of breathlessness quickly. I think there is going to be a bunch more of these little discoveries that many might not chalk up to life altering changes. This whole surgery has been eye opening in so many ways. boogie 12/17/03 open lap 376/I can BREATHE!
