Hi again

I emailed my son's principal again yesterday morning asking to meet her with the check and get my sons school records so I can register him to school and get a temp IEP set up.  She did infact finally reply to me and this is what she said: I need to " relax " and be " patient " and that she is " not at my beck and call " .  She told me that my sons school records are in a filing cabinet which has some boxes in front of it of things packed away for the summer and that his vaccine exemption is with her partner for safe keeping and he is out of town (in other words she doesn't want to be bothered to get them).  I reiterated that I have been nothing BUT patient.  I have waited two months for his school records and paper work I requested her to fill out from Broward School District.  It is now obvious to me that since she is no longer receiving the $2500 per month tuition (which I paid for two years but can no longer afford to pay) for my son, she has absolutely no interest in doing anything for him.  I fulfilled my contractual obligations with her and she is aware that I have the last month's tuition check for her (she agreed that I could pay this when I had it and that it would not hold up getting his records - she knew I would be good for it).

I would not normally air a personal grievance such as this but I am so disgusted by her lack of concern for my child and I need to get his records as a matter of urgency now with school looming.  I know that I have legal rights in this situation and was wondering if there is anybody on the list who might be able to give me some advice.  If you would rather email me privately, you can do so at chopton@...

Thanks in advance.

Caroline.
