Inner Labia Size

I'm all for surgery to remove the painful glands that cause VVS, but I would

hesitate to have surgery to remove labia just because they are two large

(like the Beverly Hills Doctors). If they are causing you discomfort that

is a problem and hopefully the doctors are right about things settling down

a bit after your treatment.

Anytime you have surgery there is a risk of nerve involvment. I guess the

decison you need to make is weather or not the irritation is worth the risk.

Also, the Labia are part of your erogenous area and while its not the

clitoris or anything you would be removing part of the area that gives you

pleasure.

I also have large inner labia and yes they do sometimes irritate me with

tight clothing by rubbing against my thighs, but they also are a sourse of

pleasure and I would hate to have to reduce them unless they were honestly

giving me true pain. With all the issues I have had over the years with the

area, I welcome the one part that was overcompensated;) Even if I have to

buy s Secret cotton panties to be sure that the seam (which is flat

in VS panties but not in others) does not rub against my larger labia.

My husband for example is fairly well endowed and sometimes he has some

irritation or discomfort while jogging, but hes not considering a reduction

of any sorts because...well being well endowed has its benifits;)

When I had just started recovering from my surgery for the first year, I

found that the irritation from the labia was more promenant, but after that

first year I have found it less irritating. I also found that if I trimmed

my pubic hair too much that the irritation was more so. So now I don't trim

thing so short (sorry if this is TMI). And again the switch in panties was

a huge help too.

I don't want to sound unsupporting of your decision to have a reduction.

But be sure to check out all the facts and consider other options before

making a decision, which I am sure your doing anyways:)
